Viking Bead Set

Searching for your next project or the perfect gift? This set of five viking style, hand formed glass beads is just the thing! Our set of beads includes one large focal bead and four complimentary accent beads, ready to be strung onto a necklace or brooch strand. The beads are handmade by a Northwest artisan and are the result of years of research and recreation. Beads such as these were common in Northern Europe both before and after the fall of the Roman Empire. They would be appropriate in recreations of Celtic, Frankish, Saxon, or Norse dress. Similar beads can be seen in the archaeological record in various finds including the Hon necklace (Hon, Norway; 9^th century) and the Neiderbreisig necklaces (Neiderbreisig, Germany; 7^th century).
