These double pointed knitting needles make an excellent gift for anyone who is interested in knitting or medieval crafts. Our knitting needles are hand made of solid brass, come in sets of 5 double pointed needles and are available in sizes 5/0 through 5. These authentic knitting needles are based on late 14th century needles found while excavating a medieval tenement in York, item numbers 14697-8, York Archaeological Trust. We based our needles on some of the earliest known knitting needles, and this style continued to be used through the 1800's.
These solid brass knitting needles come in sets of 5 needles. We currently carry U.S. size 5/0, 4/0, 3/0, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 needles.
